Last year, in February 2012, we decided to relocate the family to the sunnier shores of South Africa. After quite a few years spent in France and in the UK, we wanted to be closer to (at least one) family.
We did it and eventually left the UK for good at the end of August 2012. It's been manic since we've arrived here, things are very different in so many ways, yet coming from the French Antilles (Guadeloupe, Martinique), the whole place feels somehow familiar.
Now that things are somehow settled, I am planning on writing a bit more about what I do at work, and also about this big and vast country we live in.
